[First Impression] Taiko no Tatsujin Portable

SCANDAL is to blame for my recent addiction in Taiko no Tatsujin. :3c

The video above is a more recent guesting of SCANDAL in Kanjani Shiawake. The one that I previously watched is the episode where Rina beats the rest of the competing girls! How cool is that? XD Anyways, I’m quite surprised to see the band in a JE show. Not a fan of Eito, but their show looks fun. And hey there Ryo. Haven’t seen your face in a while since you left NewS. ;D

Been wanting to try playing Taiko no Tatsujin because it seems like an enjoyable game. I think I even saw one in the arcade before but was too shy to try it lol. So I settled with the PSP ver. It is so addicting! They put different kinds of songs from popular songs, some Jdrama and anime OST, foreign songs (I almost flipped over when I saw “I’m a Slave 4 u” in the list lmao), there’s also classical songs, and original songs added. I’m playing all 3 game and what makes is more exciting is that some of my favorite songs are there. Sweet~!

While I liked most of the songs, Taiko no Tatsujin 2’s set of song resembles to that of Osu! Tatakae Ouendan 2 songs. Well, maybe not all. At first, I thought it is just Popstar by Hirai Ken but then I recognized that other songs as well. But then, who knows if those songs are just really very popular when they’ve released the games. Neither do i know if the 2 games are released at the same time. XD

A-n-y-w-a-y, still love love this and the mini-games that they have are enough to kill time. ohoho
